The 6th Annual Pitching in for Kids & The Capital Grille's All Star Charity Golf Classic Hosted by Tim Wakefield & Jason Varitek

The 2009 Pitching in for Kids & The Capital Grille's All Star Charity Golf Classic takes place June 15, 2009. This year's event takes place on a new golf course – Indian Pond Country Club in Kingston, MA. Registration begins at 10am and Shotgun start at Noon. Please Mark your calendar now for a great outing!

Join Tim, Jason & Celebrity Friends at Ned Devines (Upper Rotunda of Faneuil Hall Marketplace) for a night of fun with a Silent & Live Auction, Music & Dancing, Local Restaurant Tastings, and Cocktail Reception.

$20 Helicopter Golf Ball Drop 50/50 Raffle

To take place Immediately after the tournament ends. The holder of the ticket number which corresponds to the numbered golf ball that goes into the hole after being dropped out of the helicopter will receive 50% of the tickets sold!! The other 50% will go to Pitching In For Kids.

Jon Coveney from Melrose, MA and Jennifer Uitos from Medford, MA are the lucky winners of the Helicopter Drop. They split $10,000 – Congratulations!

CONGRATULATIONS TO THE 2008 HARLEY DAVIDSON FAT BOY WINNER, JUERGAN BLANK FROM MIDDLETON, MA, TICKET #2100!

Juergan read a poster about the raffle while shopping at the Bruce Rossmeyer Harley Davidson in Faneuil Hall Marketplace, Boston. Though he couldn't make it to the Rock 'N Ride party where his ticket was drawn, he was thrilled at the news he had won! He previously owned a Fat Boy and is very excited to now be riding around on a brand new one!

Tim Donates $50,000 to The Space Coast Early Intervention Center

Tim Wakefield donated $50,000 to The Space Coast Early Intervention Center in his hometown of Melbourne, Florida. The money raised came from the sale of Tim's Caberknuckle wine, which sold more than 95,000 bottles in New England.

Boston Red Sox players will join forces with Charity Wines to raise money for their respective charities. For every bottle of Charity Wine sold, $1.25 will be donated to Pitching in for Kids.

Addtional proceeds from the sale of this wine also benefit the Major League Baseball Players Trust.
